Adriana´s gang and scrapbooking on a snow day!

This weekend was a lot of fun! While doing a bunch of homework for my masters and working on my final research project, I went to Amy's house where we had a scrapbooking party! It was fun scrapbooking on our Christmas pictures! 

Today, I  had my Brazilian friend Regina over and we scrapbooked for a little while! While watching the snowflakes fall, my mom had so many pictures to choose from that she got exhausted! It was hard to choose only some of her granddaughter's pictures because they are all sooooooo cute!

Embossing techniques for cards and scrapbook pages

Happy 2013!! I've been enjoying my winter break and I thought this video was a good one to start the year! I've been excited about scrapbooking my Fall 2011 pictures (can you believe I am still scrapbooking them?!) With so much to do as an Elementary teacher and being the owner of a new home, absolutely everything needs to be done! It is crazy! This spring semester is my last semester of my Masters in Bilingual Education at WSU and I'm really excited about that! More time to scrapbook! Yeah! 

Christmas and New Year's Eve were great days to spend with family and friends! I'd like to share a picture of my family in Brazil, celebrating xmas as well! The other ones were taken here in West Pasco! My mom and hubby got busy making a cute snowman named 'Felicidade' that means 'Happiness' in Portuguese. It melted already.. Booo...

I also had my friend Linda over and my mom and I got to spend a couple of hours with her. She used all the Close To My Heart Christmas stamps to create a beautiful card! She rocks! She even made a Pink Lady Apple and Berries Crisp. Sooooo gooood!
I really want to have more people over to do some scrapbooking this month! Wanna come over?

Scrapbooking again!!!

OMG! Has it been more than 2 months since I don´t scrapbook, publish on my blog or breathe? Yes, it has!
After moving to our new home, it got really difficult to scrapbook with all the boxes I had to open! :.)
Not forgetting my new job at the Elementary school! So much work! I love it though! My 4th graders are the best! My students (especially the girls) love scrapbooking during recess! They are so cute!

Well, this weekend I organized my craft room and had my Brazilian friend Regina over! My mom and Regina had a great time (I think!) We made a cute little My Creations mini album using the La Belle Vie paper from Close To My Heart!
I also wanted to share the gorgeous flowers my mom bought at Yokes this week. Astrolmerias are magnificent! Just thought it was good to share it! With the winter coming, I kind of miss the spring already!

Back to school!

This past Friday, Angela and Daisy Vargas came over to make back to school welcome boxes for students! I'll be teaching 4th grade, Angela will be teaching 3rd grade and Daisy will be student teaching soon! I still need to make my students' boxes because we couldn't finish them all in a couple hours. After using the previous video and ideas I posted yesterday, Jodie, Niki and I started our own owl creations! They look so cute! We HAD TO go to the backyard and take pictures of them! So cute!
