Summer Craft Adventures: scrapbooking parties, trips and scrapbooking on canvas! Fun, fun, fun!

It is summer!!!!! Water Follies Race here in Tri Cities and a quick trip to San Francisco were the highlights so far!!!! Some scrapbooking parties at my house and BBQing with friends have been fun!

I finally finished my scrapbooking on canvas project! It has been months that I wanted to be done, but finishing my masters and teaching full time was a little bit too much! check the pictures out! All the paper and embellishments are from Close To My Heart! 

 

During the last scrapbooking party at my house, I had some awesome friends scrapbooking beautiful pages! Check them out!

Dream Pop paper, Later Skater and Ladybug Adventures!

How cute is to design a party around the Ladybug theme? Check this cute little invitation out! My friend Anais is planning this gorgeous ladybug party for her 1 year-old! This is just a sneak peek of what she has been working on!

My friend Maribel just started scrapbooking and created those beautiful designs using CTMH paper! Later Skater collection! Needless to say that her son LOVED them!

Marker Magic

Scrapbooking at Maya Angelou Elementary! Our 1st meeting!

Our first scrapbooking event at Maya happened this past Saturday and it was a lot of fun! We were all well behaved and happy in the library! :.)

We made picture holders and small notepads decorated with some beautiful paper. We are trying to schedule another fun day before school is out so that we can scrapbook pages! Wanna join us?

 

Paper dolls

Who hasn't played with paper dolls? I have! This cute stamp set from Close To My Heart is so adorable!!!!!!!!!!It is a great way to bring the little girl in you or to gift a little girl you love!There are so many possibilities because you can color the clothes and the details in many different ways, creating your own paper doll! Watercolor pencils or CTMH watercolor markers are the perfect match. I love it!

Making your own paper with stamping techniques!

1- Start by using your sponge daubers using the CTMH Ruby ink pad. 2-Stamp your paper using a deeper red. I used CTMH Barn Red. 3- Trim your paper to fit your pin and ink the borders using the barn red ink pad. 4- Add Bitty Sparkles from CTMH.

Add caption

1-To make a rosette, score a strip of paper. 2- glue one extremity to another. 3 & 4- press it towards the center.

Add liquid glass to your rosette, and add a piece of paper in the middle to keep it together. Do that on both sides! Hold it until it is glued! (liquid glass glues it fairly fast)

Ink around the logo.  Add sparkles to bring out the details!
