I've been extremely excited about the beginning of summer and
the fact that school is out! A new school year will start in a few months and I
just want to enjoy this time off to recharge my batteries and start fresh in
July when I'll be teaching summer school! I've had Maria Hernandez join me for scrapbooking
a couple times this week and she is amazing! That's her second day scrapbooking
and she made that amazing scrap box for her newborn niece!
I'm sketching two projects to send to my nephew (the one
wearing Mickey pj's) and my niece. His project is just a simple frame to hang
on his wall and hers will be more of a scrap box with her pictures since she
was 1 year old! I'll send those creations to Brazil as soon as I finish them! I
bet my sister will be pumped to receive the frame and the scrap box when I'm done!
Also, I've just started planning my first free scrapbooking event at Maui's Apple
frozen yogurt place in Richland where kids and adults will experience a little
bit of what scrapbooking is all about! The idea is to offer classes in the
summer! Way fun!
Last, but not least, I almost forgot to mention that I
finished a Christmas shadowbox that I was redoing! I also made some cards using
the new Close To My Heart paper with the objective of taking them with me when
I do the clubs during the Close To My Heart sessions!
